Apollo Model XI Field
Apollo XI Model Field, located at 6201 Woodley Ave, Encino, CA, is a public park dedicated for radio-controlled model aircraft. The field features multiple designated areas for different types of aircraft, including fixed-wing planes, helicopters, drones, and control line models. The main runway, created in 1973, is 82 feet wide and 608 feet long, catering to fixed-wing aircraft weighing over one pound. Apollo XI Field is not FRIA, however the San Fernando Valley Flyers Club has FAA RIDE - Remote ID Exception.
